Swan Mine is located in the Wiltshire town of Bathford and forms part of the Corsham Quarries Complex. It is also known as Kingsdown Quarry. It lies to the east of the Monkton Farleigh mine complex and to the West of Box mine. It is not a large mine when compared with those around it, but contains plenty of interesting features that make it worth visiting if you’re in the area. The old stone crane located in the southern section is one of the most well preserved in the area.
